Since the negotiations between the Swedish Transport Workers' Union and the association of air transport industry employers concerning the industry-wide agreement and the SAS workers' agreement have failed to result in an accord, the Transport Workers' Union has pulled out of the collective agreement and gives notice of industrial action.

The industrial action comprises the following measures in respect of the industry-wide agreement and the SAS workers' agreement vis-ā-vis companies affiliated with the Swedish air transport industry employers' association:

  1. A ban on overtime for all full-time and part-time employees concerned. The ban applies in respect of working hours which were agreed as of 24 October 2007.
  2. A ban on the recruitment and hiring of new staff.
  3. These measures will take effect from Monday 5 November 2007 from 00.00 and will continue until agreement has been reached between the parties or until further notice.

Total withdrawal of labour for employees of the following companies: Gate Gourmet Sweden AB, GG Logistik AB, Göteborg City Airport, Nordic Aero AB, Tärnafjällens Flygplats AB and West Air Sweden AB.

These measures will take effect from Thursday 8 November 2007 from 00.00 and will continue until agreement has been reached between the parties or until further notice.
